Spots

Lots of teenagers experience acne. It’s a very common skin condition amongst teenagers and can carry onto later teen and early adulthood too. There are a lot of misconceptions about acne and what causes it. Quite often it is caused by imbalanced hormones when you are a teenager and therefore gets better once your hormones settle.

Acne causes people to have spots, oily skin and sometimes skin that is hot or painful to touch.

If you have mild acne, speak to a pharmacist who can advise on medicines which can treat it. If this doesn’t control your acne or it’s making you feel very unhappy, see your GP.
