Coronavirus is a type of virus that causes COVID-19.  It affects people's lungs and breathing. Most people who get COVID will fully recover, however it can be dangerous for some people.

In 2020, most of the world went into lockdown. This meant there were times when schools and workplaces were shut and there were restrictions put in place to limit the spread of the virus.

Even though the lockdown is now over, lots of people are still feeling affected by it. If you’re worried about COVID-19 or anything that’s happened, there are people to talk to and support you.

People who are at increased risk of severe COVID-19 can get a vaccination. You can find out more about the vaccine and how to get one on the NHS website which is in the links below.
