Asthma is a common condition which affects the lungs and can cause breathing difficulties. It affects people of all ages and often starts in childhood, although it can also develop for the first time in adults. 

There is currently no cure, but there are treatments that can be used to help keep the symptoms under control. As symptoms often changes over time, it’s important to work with your doctor to monitor your signs and symptoms and adjust your treatment as needed.
