World Sexual Health Day 2026
World Sexual Health Day was created by the World Association for Sexual Health, and is celebrated annually on the 4th of September, opening an opportunity for positive conversations about sexual health and wellbeing.
The theme for this year is Every Body, meaning that sexual health, rights, justice and pleasure belong to every person, in everybody, without exception. These topics are particularly relevant to teens as you develop your identity, form relationships and begin making personal choices about your sexual and emotional wellbeing. World Sexual Health Day helps to challenge myths and stigma, encourages respectful and healthy relationships, and empowers you to make informed choices, and know where you can access trusted support and advice.
Your Teen Health Worker can sign you up to the Condoms Now (Free Condoms) scheme in person at school, and can support with any sexual health and healthy relationship conversations, Check what day your Health and Wellbeing Officer is in school on the ‘Where do you study?’ tab.
