Children’s Mental Health Week 2025

Looking after your mental health is always important, however during Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week there is a big focus on how you manage your mental health, through tips, advice and strategies.

This year, Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week runs from 3rd to 9th February.

This year's theme is ‘Knowing Yourself, Growing Yourself’ – the idea being that the more you know about yourself (likes, dislikes, strengths) the more you can grow and develop into a strong and resilient young adult who forms and builds healthy relationships. This might not feel like an easy thing to do, but don’t worry as there is a lot of information out there to help!

See the flip cards below for our tips on positive wellbeing. You can also visit the information pages below for further information and support:

Key messages

  • Getting to know yourself and your feelings can help children and young people to manage their emotions and build resilience.
  • The more we can understand about ourselves, the more prepared we are to express our emotions, control how we respond to situations and take on life’s ups and downs.
  • By building a sense of self, it can help children and young people to grow in their ability to connect with others, as well as develop their skills and talents.
  • You are not alone. There is support available if you need it. Please reach out for help.
