SEND
Everyone learns and experiences life in their own way. For some young people, this means needing a bit of extra support at school, college, or in day-to-day life. That’s where SEND support comes in to help you feel confident, achieve your goals, and enjoy life.
SEND stands for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This includes a wide range of conditions that might affect:
- Learning – like dyslexia or difficulties with understanding information
- Physical abilities – like needing equipment to help move around
- Mental health or emotion wellbeing – like ADHD of autism
- Communication – like speech delays or finding it hard to express yourself
