Resilience

Top angle image

When things go wrong, resilience is what helps us cope and get through hard times. Sometimes it can make us even stronger than we were before.

Some things which can help develop resilience are:

  • having a positive attitude,
  • good friends,
  • feeling good about yourself,
  • helping others or ‘giving back’
  • good communication with the people around you.

With practice everyone can learn how to get back on track after negative things have happened.
