Vaping

Vaping is the inhaling of an aerosol (mist) created by an electronic cigarette (e-cigarette). The use of e-cigarettes is unsafe for teenagers and young adults as most e-cigarettes contain nicotine. Nicotine is highly addictive and we do not currently know the long term risks of vaping.

Even though nicotine vaping is substantially less harmful than smoking, it is not risk free. That’s why there’s a minimum age of sale for vaping products in the UK. It is illegal to sell nicotine vaping products to anyone under 18 or for adults to buy them on behalf of under-18s.
