Physical activity is great for our health and wellbeing.  We can all be more physically active by sitting down less and moving our bodies more.  

Exercise doesn't have to be running marathons or training every day at the gym, it can be other fun things like walking, playing sports, or yoga. 

Find the activity that you enjoy, either with friends or alone. If you enjoy it, you are more likely to continue and build it into your daily routine.

Did you know?

  • The recommended physical activity levels for young people aged 5-18 is 60 minutes every day. 
  • For adults aged 19 - 64 the recommended level is 2 hours 30 minutes per week.
